Description Pitch ditches are trenches filled with flammable tar that require pitch to be created. While an impregnable castle should be at the heart of any lord or lady’s domain, you can also specialise with a vast research tree. The Pitch ditch is a trap used for defenses. When an enemy unit steps on it, it triggers the trap and the spikes spring, causing heavy damage to the soldier. The first is perfect for building a village. Description Killing pits are weight-sensitive traps that are covered with lots of spikes. In fact, that is what Stronghold Kingdoms is all about: building up your castle and preparing it for battle. Pitch can be useful, but is extremely hard to get and very expensive to buy. Besiege the castle that’s never been taken, overthrow ruthless tyrants, bankroll your faction’s war effort, pillage your neighbour’s resources, peacefully raise cattle or do it all!
